Robert J. Lindquist, PE, MBA, CGC, has been responsible for estimating over 3,000 projects totaling more than $12 billion and has been successful on over 500 projects totaling in excess of $3 billion. He managed the Design/Build process on projects ranging in size from $5 million to $250 million. Bob has had hands-on responsibilities for 19 wastewater treatment plants, 350 major highway bridge projects, 75 site development projects, 15 landfill projects, 18 major membrane liner projects, 2 tunnels, 3 gold mines, 1 wharf, and 1 uranium tailings removal project. His managerial, financial and engineering expertise in the heavy, civil, structural, and mechanical construction portions of these projects was a significant factor in their timely and profitable completion.

He holds active Registered Professional Engineer licenses in Louisiana and Texas, and retired PE Licenses in Florida, Colorado and Illinois. He has a retired Florida General Contractor's License, and active TxDOT Certifications in: Roadway Construction Management and Inspection and Major Bridge Construction Management and Inspection

Bob is an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association (AAA) (since 1995), an Arbitrator and Dispute Review Board member with the Texas Bar Association, Construction Law Section, and a Dispute Review Board member in good standing with the Florida Department of Transportation. He has served as an arbitrator on construction disputes and has participated in numerous mediations, arbitrations, Dispute Review Boards and court proceedings during his 33 year construction career.

For 16 years Bob served as Senior Vice President for Hubbard Construction Company in Orlando, Florida, a $250 million dollar a year ENR “Top 400” company. At Hubbard, he was responsible for the coordination and direction of outside legal counsel with respect to litigation, estimating, contract administration, bid negotiations, contract closeout, dispute resolution, monthly monitoring of progress, profit/loss reviews on all major projects and Hubbard's Design Build efforts.

As Vice President/Division Manager of ARGEE Corporation, Denver, Colorado, he introduced this 60-year old heavy civil and mining company to the municipal and industrial construction market. Over his 3 years with ARGEE Corp., Bob was responsible for estimating and successfully completing 4 wastewater treatment plants valued at $68 million, 4 highway and bridge construction projects valued at $59 million, 3 open pit gold and silver mines valued at $34 million, 2 large leachate pads with 3.5 million square feet of membrane liners, and numerous large earthwork projects totaling $43 million. These projects were located in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Nevada, California, Colorado and Idaho. His responsibilities included post bid negotiations, contract disputes, legal cases and project profitability.

Bob organized, launched, and was President of Peabody Southwest, Inc., Houston, Texas. Projects constructed under his direction and 3 year tenure at Peabody Southwest include 4 heavy and highway bridge projects valued at $28 million, 2 wastewater treatment plants totaling $21 million, and one marine wharf deck project at $10 million. Peabody Southwest was a wholly owned subsidiary of Peabody International Corporation, a Fortune 400 Company.

During his first 10 years out of Penn State, Bob worked as Project Engineer on 2 waste water treatment plants in Pittsburgh and Chicago and then headed up the estimating/engineering department of Peabody Midwest, Inc., in Chicago, until moving to Houston to start-up Peabody Southwest.

Bob holds a Masters in Business Administration with honors from Rollins College, Crummer Graduate School of Business ('90) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State University ('71).

Professionally, Bob is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, Florida Engineering Society, and Florida Department of Transportation Design Build Task Team.

His personal interests include: Triathlons, Cycling and Swimming, Marathons and Long Distance Running, Golf, Boating, and Jungian Psychological Studies.
